Job summary

Bridge Defense seeks a Technology Operations Specialist to maintain a reliable IT environment, automate tasks, and support security across the organization. The role sits in the IST team and will focus on operations, identity management, and automation initiatives from the Washington, D.C. area.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in systems administration or IT infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM.
• Hands-on Windows and macOS administration.
• Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, DNS.
• Ability to script in PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Understanding of Zero Trust and PKI concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation, reliability, and security of Bridge Defense’s IT environment.
• Administer and support Entra ID provisioning and access.
• Support GCC/GCC High Microsoft 365 tenants.
• Manage endpoint configuration with Intune across Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, identity, connectivity and user access.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline tasks.
• Apply security best practices and support compliance initiatives.
• Maintain IST documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify automation opportunities.
• Participate in change management and configuration updates.
• Identify opportunities for internal automation and process improvements.
