Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in technology operations.
• Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud tech, security, compliance, and risk management.
• Proven governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence experience.
• Strong experience with Java ecosystem and patching; WebLogic/WebSphere on Linux/Windows.
• Scripting/automation (Shell, Python, Ansible); patching tools (SCCM, BigFix) and vulnerability tools (Qualys, Tenable).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, pipelines using GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Delivers technology operations for assigned systems; targets performance, availability, reliability, and security.
• Owns and executes defined processes; develops technology standards, runbooks, governance patterns.
• Leads components of larger initiatives by planning, designing, implementing solutions, coordinating tasks.
• Analyzes tools/processes; evaluates emerging tech and automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Provides technical guidance through reviews, troubleshooting, and sharing best practices.
• Translates requirements into implementation plans; recommends enhancements to products, services, or ops.
• Collaborates with vendors/partners/teams for integration and adherence to standards.
• Monitors operational metrics, logs, and observability data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Acts as technical contact point for vendors/partners; aligns with architecture expectations.
• Performs incident response for medium-high priority issues; collaborates to resolve root causes.
• Contributes to design/maintenance of incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
