Job summary

ITA International, LLC in Newport News, Virginia, seeks a Director, Technology Operations to lead IT strategy, security, and governance across CONUS and OCONUS. You will manage IT systems, budgets, and compliance while partnering with executive leadership to enable secure, scalable operations.

The role requires 10+ years in IT leadership, CMMC knowledge, and a SECRET clearance; you will mentor teams, drive modernization, and ensure adherence to government contracting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with best-practice processes.
• Microsoft Certifications preferred (Administrator, Security Engineer, or AI Engineer).
• Strong knowledge of hardware/software systems and enterprise IT.
• Experience securing enterprise systems, email, networks, endpoints and servers.
• Understanding of CMMC requirements and implementation timelines.
• Ability to manage personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, business applications, end-user support and governance.
• Align technology investments with business objectives across CONUS and OCONUS.
• Recommend enhancements to improve functionality and value.
• Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the IT team.
• Plan, evaluate, organize, control, and secure IT and electronic data operations.
• Ensure data, network access and backup systems security including cybersecurity operations.
• Direct design, development, implementation, and coordination of organizational systems, policies and procedures.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance operations.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure annual training compliance and ongoing cybersecurity education.
• Assist with annual budget development and cost-effectiveness of IT assets.
• Conduct regular audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on audit findings.
