Job summary

Gulf Electroquip, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Technology Operations & Compliance Lead to own GEQ’s technology environment, vendor relations, and compliance program. You will drive ERP and analytics initiatives, security governance, and cross-functional collaboration across office and shop floors.

The role requires 5+ years in tech ops, ERP systems, and reporting, with strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, business, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technology operations, ERP/business systems, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, data reporting, and system integrations.
• Experience coordinating MSPs, software providers, developers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal administration and continuous improvement of GEQ business systems (Infor Visual, Experlogix, reporting tools).
• Coordinate system upgrades, testing, training, and post-implementation support.
• Serve as internal liaison with MSPs and technology vendors; manage contracts, renewals and costs.
• Drive technology governance, cybersecurity compliance, and AI/tool adoption initiatives.
• Lead process improvements, automation, and data-driven decision making across operations.
