Green Hills Area Education Agency in Council Bluffs is seeking a Microcomputer/Network Specialist to support staff and students with computers, networking, and software installation. The role requires knowledge of Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, and Google Workspace, with a focus on troubleshooting and customer service.

Qualifications

Associate (2-year degree) preferred or high school graduate/GED with 2 years related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of microcomputer hardware, software, and networks.
Experience and working knowledge of Google Workspace.
Excellent communication skills and ability to relate and explain complex issues.

Responsibilities

Assist agency and local education agency staff & students with computers, networking, hardware/software installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Provide technology support to managed services customers and support to staff.
Deliver excellent customer service for all customers.
Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS systems and peripherals.
Coordinate repairs and maintain repair records.
Support network hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
