Job summary

Confidential Careers in New York is seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join a premier Technology & Software M&A group. You will execute complex buy-side and sell-side transactions, craft CIMs and teasers, and manage due diligence across tech-focused deals.

Qualified candidates bring 2–4 years in IB, corporate development, or M&A, with a focus on TMT or Software. A finance/economics/CS/engineering degree is required; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or M&A Advisory.
• Focus on Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) or Software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, CS, or Engineering; MBA is a plus.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to the New York metro area.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side process execution, including messaging for clients.
• Develop CIMs, Teasers, and Management Presentations for deal audiences.
• Oversee due diligence across financial, operational, and commercial workstreams.
• Coordinate with target management, sponsors, legal counsel, and accountants.
• Draft high-impact client presentations and maintain deal logs.
