Job summary

PwC's Scaled Engineering Services practice is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner and Manager to drive software and product innovation for advisory engagements. You will lead cross-functional teams, align engineering work with client goals, and deliver enterprise-grade IT solutions with integrity and impact.

You will own engagement relationships, translate business needs into product roadmaps, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
• 12 years of engineering product management experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall; PMP, CSM, and/or PRINCE2 certifications.
• Experience applying ATDD and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of software and product innovation initiatives, aligning engineering execution with client and firm strategy.
• Own engagement relationships, managing expectations and translating business objectives into product roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Direct cross-functional teams in designing and building scalable solutions using modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#.NET) and application frameworks.
• Oversee enterprise application integration, APIs, and microservices architecture to enable interoperability and business agility.
• Institutionalize quality practices, including ATDD, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
• Drive CI/CD adoption to improve release velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead rigorous business requirements analysis to confirm alignment with industry standards and engagement goals.
• Establish and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, estimates, commitments, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop junior talent, elevating team capability in product strategy, engineering discipline, and project management.
• Champion innovative technologies and continuous improvement to enhance product performance, user experience, and business impact.
