Job summary
Rolls-Royce is seeking a LiftSystem Production Turbo‑Machinery Tech Lead in Indianapolis, IN, to lead a two‑person technical team across Production Turbo‑Machinery and Engine Core Upgrade responsibilities. The role requires strong technical leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration to meet program requirements.
The position is hybrid (3 days onsite) with relocation assistance and a clear path to influence product lifecycle activities, safety, and reliability across the LiftSystem
Qualifications
- Requires U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience OR Master’s with 3+ years OR PhD
- Gas Turbine turbo‑machinery knowledge preferred
- Experience leading technical teams and projects
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to the Integrated Product Team through all design and development phases
- Define technical scoping and resource planning with IPT Lead
- Coordinate with engine and subsystem teams to integrate a subsystem solution
- Lead design reviews, safety reviews, and technical audits
- Present engineering analyses and results to internal/external customers
