Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to expand our suite of applications. This role manages systems analysis, development, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing portions of new systems while improving existing ones.

The position requires coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer requirements and enterprise standards. Hybrid work options and a strong benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related work experience in SQL, TSQL, MS .NET, Azure.
• At least one of the following: ASP.NET MVC or Web API, WinForms; HTML5, CSS, and a modern JavaScript framework (Angular or React).
• Data access technology such as Microsoft Entity Framework, ADO.NET or other ORM.
• Relational database technology such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL with solid SQL.
• Experience with complex development environments and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrates complex modules.
• Solves multiple issues concurrently.
• Coordinates, delegates, and mentors less experienced staff with issue resolution.
• Modifies and enhances existing web and Windows applications.
• Creates detailed documentation outlining new and moderately complex processes.
• Ensures quality and validity of documentation.
• Develops, validates and implements software solutions based on customer requirements and standards.
• Conducts effective code reviews and demonstrates understanding of multiple SDLCs.
• Maintains focus on user experience and troubleshooting; communicates clearly in all interactions.
• Completes projects and initiatives through collaborative teamwork.
