Job summary

Black Rock Groups is seeking a Snowflake & dbt Developer to design, develop, and optimize modern cloud data warehouse solutions. The role requires strong Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and data transformation framework experience to build scalable data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

The candidate will design data warehouses, build dbt models, and implement ELT/ETL processes, while ensuring data quality, governance, and security.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and cloud data warehousing.
• dbt Core/dbt Cloud experience for building models and tests.
• Advanced SQL programming and query optimization.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake/Data Vault).
• Understanding of ELT/ETL concepts and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Build, maintain and optimize data transformation models with dbt.
• Develop ELT/ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Create reusable dbt models, tests, macros, and documentation.
• Optimize Snowflake performance with clustering and tuning.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
