Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering with strong Snowflake experience.
• Expert in SQL, Snowflake features like Time Travel and Zero-Copy Cloning.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data storage services.
• Hands-on scripting in Python or shell for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake.
• Write complex SQL, views, and UDFs for analytics.
• Integrate Snowflake with tools like Informatica, Talend, dbt, and Airflow.
• Implement data loading strategies including Snowpipe and COPY INTO.
• Optimize warehouse sizing, performance, and cost using clustering keys.
• Enforce RBAC, row/column security, and data masking.
• Work with semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet) using VARIANT and FLATTEN.
• Collaborate with modelers to implement dimensional/Data Vault models.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support CI/CD deployments.
