Mind Robotics Inc. is seeking a Tech Lead to own fleet deployment, testing infrastructure, and observability for field-deployed robots in real-world industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and/or Rust/C++, with experience building tooling/services.
• Experience with fleet/device management: OTA updates, versioning, staged rollout, rollback, remote config across many devices.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and simulation-based regression suites.
• Strong observability engineering for edge/field deployments: telemetry, logging, alerting.
• Containerization and edge orchestration for deploying software to heterogeneous robot compute.
• Track record of maturing deployment/testing systems as deployments scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect fleet-wide deployment including OTA, canary releases, rollback strategies, and config management across heterogeneous hardware.
• Design and build testing infrastructure: HIL testing, simulation-based regression, pre-deployment validation gates.
• Develop and evolve the fleet management platform: tooling, dashboards, APIs to monitor inventory, software/config versions, health, and deployment status.
• Own CI/CD pipelines that gate deployment beyond unit tests, from build to running process on remote robots.
• Set technical standards and perform design/code reviews across deployment, testing and dev ops.
• Collaborate with engineering and research to build tools that increase team velocity.
• Design logging infrastructure and visualization tooling.
