Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Platform-focused Software Engineer to bridge software development and fleet orchestration. You will build infrastructure powering our robots, both locally and in the cloud, with a blend of developer and platform-ops skills.

You will work on OTA deployment systems, enterprise AuthN/AuthZ integrations, and observability tooling to ensure scalable, secure robot deployments. Strong AWS experience and collaboration with product engineers are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 2+ years in production support, development, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in platform engineering and deploying scalable systems in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, observability, and secure identity management.

Responsibilities

• Platform Development: Build and scale configuration management processes to support our robotic fleet.
• Infrastructure Automation: Automate complex infrastructure processes, including enterprise-scale AWS account management and deployments.
• Fleet Orchestration: Design and maintain OTA software deployment systems for seamless updates across robotic assets.
• Identity & Access: Support migration and management of enterprise AuthN/AuthZ for internal and external apps.
• Observability: Implement robotics observability tooling to improve robot-to-cloud integration and monitoring.
• Incident Management: Develop automated incident reporting and escalation tooling to resolve production issues.
