Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to own the architecture and evolution of a production‑grade agentic system enabling autonomous experiment design and automated reporting at scale.

You will guide internal engineers and external contractors, uphold engineering standards, build shared infrastructure, and ensure security, testing, and observability across the platform as it scales.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, data science, chemistry, materials science, or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
• PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of a production‑grade agentic system for autonomous experiments.
• Define engineering standards and drive scalable design with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead roadmap in a SAFe cadence and mentor developers and contractors.
