Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a Senior Director of Autonomous Platform Engineering to redefine how software is built, deployed, and supported across enterprise engineering. You will lead AI-enabled automation and modern platform practices, guiding global teams and partnerships.

The role reports to the VP of Digital Product Engineering & Enterprise Infrastructure and focuses on evolving DevSecOps to autonomous, scalable platforms that accelerate delivery and improve developer productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Progressive leadership experience managing enterprise Platform Engineering and DevSecOps organizations.
Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.
Demonstrated success building modern cloud-native engineering platforms.
Deep understanding of platform engineering, SRE, security, cloud infra, and automation.
Experience implementing AI-enabled software development capabilities and autonomous practices.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy across multiple product divisions.
Lead evolution of engineering platforms to improve developer experience and scalability.
Set enterprise standards for platform architecture and automation.
Drive adoption of internal development platforms, IaC, cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes, and observability.
Build reusable engineering capabilities enabling product teams to deliver securely and efficiently.
Oversee leadership, budget, and vendor management for platform teams.
