Job summary

AssistRx is seeking a Tech Lead to guide the architecture, design, and implementation quality for the Scrum team. The role blends active coding with mentorship, removing blockers and driving engineering best practices to deliver scalable solutions aligned with platform strategy.

The Tech Lead partners with Product and Architecture, participates in sprint planning, conducts code reviews, and owns critical technical decisions across tooling, cloud platforms, and data flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proficiency in one or more of Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Salesforce (Apex, LWC).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of APIs (REST/GraphQL) and data modeling within Agile Scrum teams.
• Healthcare tech, regulated industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture of features ensuring scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to development with production-grade code while balancing leadership duties.
• Provide technical estimates in sprint planning and identify risks early.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce standards, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor teammates on engineering best practices, patterns, and new tech.
