Job summary

Client Resources, Inc. is seeking a Lead Developer, Technology to join an agile team. You will collaborate with product ownership and business stakeholders to define tasks and provide final estimates for User Stories, and participate in all Scrum ceremonies.

You will design client-side, server-side and mobile architectures, mentor peers, and drive front-end standards with a focus on reusability and security. Strong API, security and scalable systems experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with front-end languages and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, React).
• 5+ years’ experience with back-end languages (Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin).
• 5+ years’ experience designing and implementing REST APIs (OpenAPI Spec/Swagger); working knowledge of SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer) and web servers (Apache, nginx).
• Experience with software design principles as well as UI prototype design.
• Working knowledge of Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development
• Ability to write quality unit, functional and automated tests
• Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
• Knowledge of Gradle, Apache Maven, Apache ANT is desirable

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile team to ideate software solutions
• Lead work breakdown exercises to create projects, epics, and stories
• Develop front-end standards with focus on re-usability and security
• Mentor peers on software patterns and principles
• Guide on industry and company best practices within the team and organization
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to apply/define architecture principles
• Engage in COEs to lead agile teams in adoption of technology standards and best practices
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Design client-side, server-side, and mobile architecture; influence Micro Front-end Design
• Identify technology needs and prioritize with Squad Leadership
• Test software, both manual and automated, to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and debug software
• Create security and data protection settings
