AssistRx is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a team building high-quality .NET applications. You will set technical direction, oversee project execution, enforce best practices, and mentor engineers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving CI/CD, and implementing scalable microservice architectures while maintaining strong coding standards and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Angular is a plus and 6+ years in software development.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring developers.
• Experience as a technical or team lead and in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing, user stories/use cases, design patterns, and OOP.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and developers.
• Experience with short release cycles, feature toggles, and CI.
• Experience with microservice architecture and platform-based development.
• Improve development processes and remove impediments.
• Contribute to coding and feature verification for releases.
• Identify training needs and provide sessions to empower team members.
• Coach and mentor leads through technical and non-technical challenges.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage team performance and conflicts.
