Job summary

Samsung Ads is seeking a Tech Lead Director to head a team building an ad framework for our Live / VOD streaming product, TV Plus. You will design, architect, build, deploy and maintain high-volume distributed systems, blending team leadership with hands-on development.

You will mentor engineers, enforce code reviews, drive quality through unit tests, manage internal and external stakeholders, and set the technical vision and roadmap for the team across distributed locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Ad Tech would be preferable.
• Solid foundation in computer science and systems programming.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience with appropriate degree combinations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team to deliver full-stack software systems with high quality.
• Mentor team members on engineering best practices and code reviews.
• Drive quality through peer reviews and unit testing.
• Provide regular performance feedback to team members.
• Stakeholder management (internal and external) across distributed teams.
• Develop and refine the technical vision and roadmap for the team.
