Job summary
Nomura's Technology Investment Banking team seeks an Associate to work with senior bankers on deal execution, client coverage and new business development. You will apply technology sector expertise with strong financial analysis, due diligence and presentation skills to deliver client-ready materials.
Requires MBA or graduate degree desirability and a minimum of 3 years in investment banking; familiarity with software tech; strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; SIE, Series 63/79 licenses.
Qualifications
- MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of total investment banking experience.
- Demonstrated track record within the Technology sector is a requirement; specific Software experience is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- SIE, Series 63 and 79.
Responsibilities
- Execution and client coverage including; valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal financing and process management.
- Business and industry research and analysis.
- Preparation of transaction marketing materials and high-quality client deliverables.
- Development, training, and mentoring of junior bankers assigned to projects.
