Job summary

Roth Capital Partners, LLC, headquartered in Newport Beach, California, is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Technology Team in person at the Newport Beach office. You will work on M&A and capital-raising engagements, collaborating with senior bankers and deal teams.

Responsibilities include building financial models, preparing CIMs and pitch books, conducting industry research, supporting due diligence, and coordinating deliverables under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting).
• 0-2 years of IB/corporate finance experience (internship or full-time).
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79 and 63 or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models including DCF, comps, and precedent analyses.
• Prepare pitch books, CIMs, management presentations for client/internal use.
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution.
• Support due diligence processes including data room management and coordination with legal and other advisors.
• Analyze financial statements and public filings to assess performance and valuation.
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
