Job summary

Roth Capital Partners, LLC is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Technology Team in Boulder, CO. This in-person role will contribute to live deals and support M&A and capital raising engagements for growth companies.

The role involves building financial models, preparing CIMs and pitches, performing industry and market research, and coordinating with senior bankers to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic credentials with a Bachelor’s Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Securities Industry Essentials - SIE, Series 79, and 63 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
• Prepare pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and marketing materials for client and internal use.
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution.
• Support due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
• Analyze financial statements and public filings to assess company performance and valuation.
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail
