Job summary

Roth Capital Partners, LLC is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Technology Team in Boulder, CO. This in-person role offers exposure to live deals and hands-on experience assisting in M&A and capital raising transactions for growth companies.

Responsibilities include building financial models (DCF, comps), preparing CIMs and presentation materials, conducting industry research, and supporting due diligence with senior bankers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related field.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and 63 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling; excellent written and verbal communication.

• Prepare pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and marketing materials for client and internal use.
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution.
• Assist due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
• Analyze financial statements and public filings to assess company performance and valuation.
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail.

Roth is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst to our Technology Team. Investment Banking Analysts are an important part of deal teams, work closely with senior-level bankers, and are responsible for assisting in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions for public and private companies. This in-person role will be based in Boulder, CO.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses
• Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and marketing materials for client and internal use
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution
• Support due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors
• Analyze financial statements and public filings to assess company performance and valuation
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail
  Skills and Attributes:
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  Qualifications:
• Outstanding academic credentials with a Bachelor’s Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or full-time) in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field
