Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is seeking Technology Interns for Summer 2027 (May-August) in Omaha, NE. The program targets Nebraska university students who will reside in Omaha during the internship.

Interns will work with IT professionals on real projects within an agile team, exploring application development, infrastructure, and digital solutions while gaining hands-on experience and potential Cohort Program opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in CS/IT or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Interest in learning programming concepts (prior experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with IT professionals on real projects that impact customers.
• Contribute as a member of an agile scrum team with developers and engineers.
• Apply programming practices and learn FNBO's development standards.
• Support modernization efforts and test process improvements.
