Deutsche Bank is seeking a Vice President in Investment Banking Technology Coverage in San Francisco to lead and execute high-profile technology transactions. You will collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to deliver M&A and capital markets solutions from start to finish.

The role emphasizes advanced financial modeling, client materials, and coordinating junior bankers, with a hybrid in-office/work-from-home setup and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in deal execution providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions in the Technology sector (IPOs, equity follow-ons, debt offerings).
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle, including pitching and bake off, preparing marketing materials and financial models.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Minimum of 5 years investment banking experience in Technology at a bulge bracket or boutique.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and ethics in data usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage execution of live transactions as part of the Technology coverage team, including preparation of presentations and client meeting materials.
• Apply advanced financial methods to evaluate and execute M&A, debt financings and equity transactions.
• Coordinate and review junior bankers' analytical work to move marketing and execution forward.
• Analyze detailed corporate/financial information and conduct due diligence.
• Collaborate with product teams across LDM, ECM, DCM, FX, and rates; mentor analysts and interns.
