Hearst Technology Services seeks a Director, IT Finance to lead FP&A for the technology division. You will own planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, partnering with technology heads and corporate finance to translate cost into strategic investment decisions.

The role manages the FP&A team and drives a clean close, insightful analytics, and strong partnership with Sourcing, TBM, and accounting. A demanding, high-impact leadership position in New York.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CFA, or CMA certification.
• Seven+ years of progressive FP&A experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience owning a full planning cycle end to end and presenting to senior management.
• Strong financial analysis, projection, and modeling skills.
• Experience managing people and a monthly close process.
• Working knowledge of operations, cost structures, and accounting principles.
• Proven business partner in a multi-unit environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills for executive audiences.

Aufgaben

• Own the monthly forecast for operating, project, and capital expenses with a defensible view.
• Lead the annual budget cycle for technology towers; build calendar, assumptions, and board-ready plan.
• Drive capital planning with ROI analysis and funding recommendations.
• Model impact of organizational and vendor changes, including run-rate savings and transition costs.
• Deliver monthly P&L, G&A, and budget variance analyses with root-cause explanations.
• Maintain the management reporting package and automate where possible.
• Surface budget inconsistencies and control gaps with supporting analysis.
• Develop analytics to answer forward-looking questions for leadership.
