Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent position in East Chicago, IN.
The role features a 7am–3:30pm schedule with on-call duties in the evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a relocation option is available. Compensation includes permanent hourly pay of $135–$150 or 1099 hourly at $205, with comprehensive benefits and potential bonuses.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Current state registered nurse license.
- Current state advanced practice nurse prescriber license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and documentation.
- Act as secondary call to Anesthesiologists; participate in evenings/weekends.
- Develop anesthesia care plans based on history and needs.
- Select, administer anesthetic agents and fluids.
- Manage airway and ventilation.
- Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
- Support multiple ORs and non-OR areas (GI suites, Cath Labs, IR).
- Manage daily patient volume and participate in monthly call rotation.
- Use Epic EMR for inpatient and outpatient documentation.
- Maintain HIMSS Stage VII standards and collaborate with surgical teams.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality initiatives.
