Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in East Chicago, IN, to join a well-established healthcare provider. This full-time, permanent position offers flexible pay options: permanent hourly $135.00–$150.00 plus an additional 1099 hourly rate of $205.00, with on-call rotation evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• Current state advanced practice nurse prescriber license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the NBCRNA.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
• Develop an anesthesia care plan based on patient history and surgical needs.
• Select, obtain, and administer the anesthetic, adjuvant, and related drugs and fluids.
• Manage patient airway and pulmonary status and ventilation.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia and monitor patient response.
• Support 28 ORs and non-operating room anesthesia areas including GI suites, cath labs and IR.
• Handle daily patient volume of 2 to 10 cases and participate in call rotations.
• Utilize Epic EMR for inpatient and outpatient documentation while maintaining HIMSS Stage VII standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nursing staff.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards.
