Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis offers a 12-week summer internship from May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027. Interns work 40 hours per week, on-site, and earn $23.00 per hour. Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary program and may graduate December 2026 or later.

The program provides hands-on IT exposure across operations, development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure, plus workshops, networking, and department matching to leverage your skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree; must be enrolled when applying.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with standard office software and willingness to learn new tools.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support IT operations, application development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure work.
• Assist with equipment deployment, AD clean-up, and access provisioning.
• Contribute to room AV upgrades and CMDB updates.
• Support CI/CD and IaC for observability tools and pipelines.
• Participate in workshops and intern-specific development activities.
