Brigham Young University’s College of Engineering seeks a full-time Continuing Faculty Status-track professional faculty member for the Technology and Engineering Education program in Provo, Utah. The candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise student teachers, and contribute to scholarly activities.

• PhD required by start date.
• Experience teaching technology and engineering education in grades 6–12.
• Strong interest in STEM education and related scholarship.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and teach undergraduate courses in communications technology, manufacturing technology, and pre-engineering.
• Develop and teach undergraduate courses in instructional methods and pedagogy.
• Supervision of student teachers.
• Teach graduate-level courses and mentor graduate students.
• Serve as faculty advisor for BYU-T EECA affiliate.
• Conduct scholarship and outreach in technology and engineering education.
• Lead professional development and outreach at local, state, and national levels.
• Supervision of a materials processing lab facility.
