Job summary

Pollard Charitable Games Group in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an IT Help Desk / Junior Systems Administrator to grow in a hands-on environment. You will support desktops, devices and software, manage Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, and assist with ERP systems and infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with experienced IT staff, gain exposure to Windows Server, networking and security, and participate in on-call and cross-location activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 1+ year of Help Desk or desktop support experience preferred; recent graduates welcome.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support for computers, devices and software.
• Configure and maintain Windows desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user accounts and access.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and equipment setup.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and document steps taken.
• Support ERP and business applications (Macola, IFS).
• Gain exposure to Windows Server, networking, security and infrastructure tech.
• Document tickets and maintain asset records; participate in on-call shifts and travel between locations.
