Job summary

Visa Hunt seeks a senior consultant to identify improvements in technology, processes, and teams for software products and services. You will collaborate with private equity clients to assess tech strengths and risks and design solutions from scratch, including agile transformations.

You will guide junior engineers and work with internal and client leads, balancing hands-on work with strategic outcomes for investment decisions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years shipping software products or services in Product Management, Program Management, Architect, Developer, QA Engineer, Release Manager, DevOps, Professional Services.
• Willingness to work from home or an office of your choosing and collaborate with the team in remote and in-person capacity.
• Strong technical acumen and knowledge in at least one of Product Management, Program Management, Software Architecture, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Release Management, DevOps, Product Support, Professional Services.
• Be eager to learn and take on new areas outside initial comfort zone.
• Action-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Work with technology companies to identify improvements of existing technology, organizations, processes, and tools used to develop software products and services.
• Work with private equity companies and other investment firms to help them understand technology strengths, risks, and opportunities for improvement (technical due diligence).
• Design and implement solutions from scratch (e.g. Agile methodology transformations), guiding and mentoring junior software developers and engineers.
• Collaborate with internal and client technical leads and team members.
