Job summary

Conxxus, part of Metro Communications and Conxxus, is seeking an entry‑level fiber installer. You will bury fiber service drops with a remote plow, hand bore and stick bore under sidewalks, and travel in company vehicles to service calls and on‑site projects.

You’ll work with coax and fiber tools, communicate procedures to customers, and collaborate with support to resolve issues. A valid driver’s license, willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, and a high school diploma are

Experience/Skills/Requirements

• Entry Level
• High school diploma/GED required
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime
• Valid driver’s license; good driving record
• Knowledge of mechanical and consumer devices

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge/experience on processes leading up to actual installation process to turn up customers media services.
• Knowledge/experience with installation equipment
• Knowledge/experience with drop plow and/or trencher
• Voice, data, coax: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
• Shifts range from Monday - Saturday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Range: $20 - $22/hr based on experience
