Job summary

Conxxus is seeking an entry-level Field Technician to install and maintain fiber services for residential and business customers. You will bury drops, bore under sidewalks, and travel to job sites to complete on-site installations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime. Safety and customer communication are essential to success.

Experience/Skills/Requirements

• Entry Level
• High school diploma/GED required
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime
• Valid driver's license; good driving record
• Knowledge of mechanical and consumer devices
• Willing to work in varying heights, close spaces, and weather conditions
• Excavation or underground construction experience

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge/experience on processes leading up to actual installation process to turn up customers media services.
• Knowledge/experience with installation equipment
• Knowledge/experience with drop plow and/or trencher
• Voice, data, coax: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
• Shifts range from Monday - Saturday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Range: $20 - $22/hr based on experience
