Conexon is seeking a field technician to install, maintain, and repair FTTX broadband and voice services in Owensboro, KY. You will handle interior and exterior fiber cabling, ensure service restoration after dispatch, and manage inventory in the field.
The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing ladders and poles, and operating test equipment such as fusion splicers and OTDRs. Overtime is required; travel within Owensboro, KY is expected.

Installs, maintains, and repairs customer FTTX broadband and voice services. Completes quality control functions for other installation technicians in the assigned area. Responsible for maintaining inventory between technicians and warehouses throughout the territory. Typically installs aerial and/or buried service drop cabling, ONTs, network interface devices (NID), and performs wiring for new or existing FTTX broadband, voice, and Special Circuit subscriber services.
