Verizon is hiring for an on-site retail sales role in New York. You will drive sales of cutting-edge technology while delivering exceptional customer service, uncovering customer needs, and presenting complete tech solutions.

The job includes ongoing training, merchandising and inventory duties, and community engagement opportunities. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $21.00 plus potential commissions up to $18,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts.
• Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus.

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using strong communication to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon events to expand loyal customers.
