Job summary

Cullman County Board of Education is seeking a Temporary, Part-Time Teacher to support classroom instruction and student success in alignment with district goals. The position requires a valid Alabama teaching certificate and a bachelor’s degree, with ongoing collaboration with staff, parents, and the community.

Employment is as needed and non-benefited, under CCBOE salary schedules. Start date is 8/4/2026 or TBD, with employment through 5/27/2027, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Alabama teaching certificate in the grade level, subject area(s) assigned.
• Suitability criteria for employment and/or certification under Alabama Child Protection Act.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration to maximize student achievement.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum for designated grade level and content area.
• Ability to use technology to plan, instruct, and manage data and reports.
• Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity for job duties.
• Punctuality and regular attendance.
• Alternatives to qualifications as required by the Board.
