Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend all required professional development sessions and meetings.
• Maintain consistent daily attendance and punctuality to support program goals.
• Assist students individually and in small groups with assignments to reinforce learning concepts.
• Implement instructional activities and lesson plans under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Monitor students in the classroom, library, playground, and other settings to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
• Support classroom management and reinforce appropriate student behavior.
• Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and classroom resources.
• Support the integration of instructional technology as directed by the teacher.
• Learn, follow, and maintain knowledge of district and school policies and procedures.
• Perform routine record-keeping, data entry, reporting, and clerical tasks as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student and program information in accordance with district policies.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students to support instructional goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing classroom and student needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
