Grant Thornton is seeking a Risk Advisory Intern to join our Philadelphia-area team. You will assist in assessing business and IT processes, conducting risk management activities, and supporting internal audits under experienced mentors.

This role emphasizes analytics, collaboration, and client service, with in-person engagement three days per week. The internship offers exposure to various industries, opportunities to contribute to proposals, training, and networking within a leading US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS or related field.
• Desire to pursue CPA, PMP, CISA, CIA, CISSP, CAMS, CISM, or other relevant license/certification preferred.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Available to travel at least 25% as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Understand, document, and assess client operations, processes, systems, controls, and programs, and identify improvements.
• Assist with risk assessments for enterprise, operational and third-party risk management.
• Support SOX and other regulatory compliance activities.
• Obtain and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results with analytics tools.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to manage project risks and deliverables.
