Job summary

Stantec Buildings is seeking a student engineer intern in New York. You will support on telecom, security, and Audio-Visual design tasks, producing CAD drawings and participating in field evaluations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer/Designer.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering, motivated, and able to work in a collaborative team environment on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to learn and take direction on projects.
• Ability to work effectively within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings.
• Perform field work evaluating existing sites as directed by senior staff.
• Participate in technology design including telecom, security, and AV systems.
• Assist with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineers/designers.
