Job summary
American Electric Power (On-Site) is seeking a Delivery Lead to shape enterprise technology delivery. This role transcends traditional project management, defining delivery practices, driving adoption, and establishing consistent measurement of execution performance across the Technology organization.
You will partner with Technology leadership to embed standard methodologies, governance, and performance tracking frameworks, improving transparency, predictability, and portfolio decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field is required.
- 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Define & Standardize Delivery Practices across the enterprise, including SDLC, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Drive Adoption Across Technology Teams by embedding standardized practices into delivery execution.
- Measure & Track Delivery Performance with enterprise KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Enable Portfolio Transparency & Decision-Making with consistent status reporting and insights for prioritization.
- Drive Continuous Improvement by assessing delivery maturity and implementing scalable improvements.
