Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol First Aid Support in Sparks, NV for a part-time schedule. The role involves unarmed patrols, access control, and exceptional customer service at a tech data center.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/regional laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a technology data center by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, and parking areas.
• Monitor access activity and follow visitor and badge procedures as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols and incidents.
