Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring) in Sparks, NV. You will monitor, patrol, and deter incidents while providing excellent customer service at a technology-focused corporate location.

The role requires a Guard Card or license (preferred), at least 1 year of security experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Schedule includes multiple day/evening shifts with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access-control irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations per site protocols.
• Maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and patrol logs, supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
