Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol CPR Support in Sparks, NV to safeguard clients in tech data centers and other facilities. You’ll provide customer service, monitor access control, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role offers flexible daytime shifts on a part-time schedule and requires CPR certification preferred, HS diploma, and background check. You’ll join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and people-first service.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of data center buildings, access points, perimeter areas, parking facilities, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the assigned location.
