Job summary

Texas Association of School Boards in Texas is seeking an IT Vendor/Contract Manager to oversee complex technology agreements from submission to final signature. This role requires deep knowledge of technology contracts and the ability to coordinate with TASB's Corporate Counsel to ensure terms protect the organization's interests.

You will work with IT leaders, contract owners, financial staff, vendors, and legal counsel to negotiate pricing, review terms, and track revisions, while monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years negotiating and managing technology contracts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and finalizing technology agreements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology contracts with IT leaders, contract owners, financial staff, vendors, and Corporate Counsel.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors for technology products and services.
• Review contracts for business, financial, security, privacy, and SLA considerations.
• Coordinate legal review and track requested revisions.
• Manage contract entry, tracking, and renewal monitoring.
• Report contract status and cost savings to IT leadership.
