Job summary

Texas Association of School Boards seeks an IT Vendor/Contract Manager to oversee complex technology agreements from submission to signature. You will collaborate with IT leaders, finance staff, vendors, and TASB's Corporate Counsel to ensure favorable terms and compliant contracts.

The role emphasizes negotiation, contract analysis, and stakeholder coordination, with remote and hybrid work options for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years negotiating and managing technology contracts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating technology agreements.
• Experience coordinating contract reviews with attorneys or in-house legal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology contracts with IT leaders, contract owners, financial staff, vendors, and Corporate Counsel.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms with vendors for routine and complex technology products and services.
• Review technology agreements for business, operational, financial, security, privacy, SLA, and contract-management considerations.
• Coordinate legal review with Corporate Counsel and track requested revisions.
• Review and coordinate SaaS agreements, terms of service, privacy terms, and data-use agreements.
• Manage contract entry, tracking, and ensure records are accurate and current.
• Monitor expirations, renewals, and coordinate timely action with stakeholders.
• Report contract activity to IT leadership and ensure budgeting alignment.
