Job summary

Owens Corning in West Chicago seeks a Maintenanance Supervisor to oversee the Technology center (DTC), supervise the maintenance of equipment, and ensure safety across F&M Operations. You will also manage janitorial duties, vendor relations, and office services in collaboration with HR.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, CMMS experience, and leadership skills to drive maintenance programs, inspections, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills (Team Management, Delegation and Training, Conflict Resolution)
• CMMS Proficiency (Fiix or Prism).
• Vendor and Contract Management.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose system failures rapidly and guide technician on difficult repairs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and facilities team in DTC.
• Manage facilities contractors to ensure timely, cost effective and safe work.
• Support annual and quarterly budgeting, budget management and facility costs.
• Develop annual budget; maintain and review expenditures on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure proper focus on improving conditions of assets.
• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws; OSHA, etc.
