Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a technology business analyst to partner with business and technology teams, translating needs into clear requirements and driving delivery. You will analyze processes, create user stories, and facilitate workshops across multiple teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a similar role, strong requirements experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Three (3+) years of experience as a technology business analyst, systems analyst, product analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile practices, and product delivery.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and turn them into practical, well-defined solutions.
• Experience creating process flows, data flows, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
• Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology teams to understand needs, define priorities, and translate them into clear requirements.
• Analyze business processes, systems, data flows, and pain points to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create user stories, functional requirements, process maps, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and solution reviews.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, QA, and project managers throughout delivery.
• Support testing by developing test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating issue resolution.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve technology solutions and business outcomes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
