Job summary

Belmont Pines is actively seeking a Behavioral Counseling Technician (BCT) to join our treatment team in Youngstown, OH. The role involves delivering continuous patient care and supervision for children and adolescents, under RN supervision, in a behavioral health setting.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and relevant field experience; CPR certification and CPI training are required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health or related field is required.
• Experience with children preferred.
• CPR Certification and CPI training required.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging from preschool through adolescence.

Minimum Start rate $16 an hour - based on experience

Base Rate + shift differentials up to $3 depending on shift.

Experience in behavioral health or related field required. Experience with children preferred.

Qualifications

The Behavioral Counseling Technician (BCT) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through adolescent depending on which unit worked. Behavioral Counseling Technicians work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Experience in behavioral health or related field required. Experience with children preferred.

Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.

Additional Requirements: CPR Certification and successful completion of Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint immediately followingemployment and prior to performing patient care.
