Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Tech Communications Lead to craft and own the technology, AI, and innovation narrative for founders and the broader tech community. You’ll translate complex product work into clear stories, and partner with senior leaders to build their thought leadership across podcasts, speaking engagements, and social channels.

You will build an integrated comms program spanning media, events, content, and press, identifying high-impact opportunities and driving execution with excellence.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in communications with tech, product, or AI storytelling at a high-growth startup or tech company.
• Hands-on, fluent user of AI tools in work, including research, automation, or content creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own Mercury’s technology, AI, and innovation narrative for founders, entrepreneurs, SMBs, and the tech community.
• Partner with co-founder and senior leaders to build thought leadership platforms: messaging, talking points, bylines, and social presence.
• Lead an integrated comms program across podcasts, events, content, social, and press to grow Mercury’s AI/innovation reputation.
